Begin by marking a point 4 1\/4\" down from the bottom of the taillight and then use masking tape to make a line parallel to the top of the bedside. Remove the rear mudflap\/bedside support and then use an angle grinder to slowly cut the line where you marked with masking tape. Clean the burr left on the backside with a flap disc, paint the cut edge and then install edge trim to clean up the look. Repeat on the other side and then install your new bumper making sure to start all of your bolts and level the main bar with your cut bedside before torquing to OEM specifications.
